Meet Dr. Bikash Devaraj, MD at Burbank Urgent Care in Burbank, CA

Dr. Bikash Devaraj received his Bachelor’s Degree with honors from UC San Diego where he was also elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He then graduated from the UC San Diego Medical School in the top tier of his class and distinguished himself by receiving the “Foundation Award in Surgery”. He stayed on at UC San Diego to complete his general surgery residency and then completed surgical sub-specialty training in colorectal surgery at the University of Southern California staying on as a junior attending upon completion of his fellowship training. Dr. Devaraj is certified in general surgery and transanal minimally invasive surgery.

Having extensive training in Critical Care Medicine and surgery, Dr. Devaraj is extremely comfortable in taking care of acutely ill patients. He joined Burbank Urgent Care in 2015. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Josephine, traveling and sampling various cuisines from around the globe.
